Hello there, I was born on November 29th 1970 in Paramaribo, Suriname and at birth I was named Vincentius Roué Kenswil aka Vincent.
After I completed the AMS (Algemene Middelbare School) in 1989, I attended the Faculty of Technology at the Anton de Kom University.
In 2000 I successfully earned my Bsc. Civil Engineering degree with the thesis “Land use planning and sustainable development for Hanna's Lust”.
I am proud to be a member of the Spang Makandra Team.
My goal is to transform this ICT company into one of the best, both in Suriname and abroad.
Like every real Surinamese I fluently speak Dutch, English and Sranan Tongo (taki taki) and because I am also very social I am a member of the Round Table Suriname.

Operations Director
Faroz Abdoelrazak was born and raised in Suriname. At the age of 15 he moved to the Netherlands where he completed high school. He continued his education with a general/ basic ICT study.
After this study he started his career at Textinfo BV, in the Netherlands. For 8 years he worked at this full text retrieval company, where he started as a Support Officer and got promoted to Project Manager. Accompanied by his family, he returned to Suriname in 2005 and started working as Project Manager at Integrate Professional Services, a company which develops web based application for the Surinamese government.
In 2006 he started working at Cybermango as a Web Manager and got promoted to Project and Operations Manager.
When Cybermango merged with US Media in 2008 Spangmakandra was born. In this new alliance, Faroz is not only the Operations Director but also the Project Manager at Spang Makandra.

Founding Partner
Joël probably has the most unlikely background for someone as specialized in interactive media as he is: he was educated to be a theoretical physicist. In 1997, together with Martijn van Meel and Casper van Schie, he started Us Media, which is now one of the most succesful Dutch interactive agencies. Part of Joel's roots lie in Suriname and the drive to give something back to this beautiful country made him one of the people to start Spang Makandra. It's a job he loves to do. And it shows. |
