We're proud to say that Spang Makandra slowly but surely starts to conquer the Surinamese and Dutch market when it comes to ICT Media productions. More than ever our young and talented team strongly improves, because of the challenging projects which come our way. We certainly don't have any complaints regarding lack of work and success.

Nevertheless we make sure that there's still enough time left for social activities with each other and, above all, with those who are socially weak. Without exaggerating we can safely state that all hands are on deck whenever a social service is requested.

Some of these social activities are:

Quota men-cook-out. This annual event, is one of the biggest social activities in Suriname in which more than one hundred men from different companies participate. The revenues go to children and women in need. On this particular day the Spang Makandra cooks get the chance to show off their mouth-watering cooking skills.

Educating pupils of Koesikwarano. Koesikwarano is a foster home for indigenous children from the interior. Most of these kids had never used a pc before, but because of the cooperation between Spang Makandra and the Surinamese Round Table we enabled them to follow basic computer courses.

The websites of the Catholic Diocese of Paramaribo and Bethaljada Foundation are hosted for a non-profit rate. The Catholic Diocese of Paramaribo, empowered by the spirit of Jesus Christ, brings together people in love and solidarity and works on justice and peace of the Creator. Bethaljada Foundation is a caring facility for people with multiple handicaps.

Impact Foundation Suriname focuses on informing youngsters via their website and television about a variety of topics. Spang Makandra contributes by sponsoring their website and developing animations for the television program.

So you see..., Spang Makandra isn't just focusing on being successful, but also on being valuable for the community. Whether we raise money for people in need or pass on our knowledge on computers, Spang Makandra is always willing to help.
